Book Cover Door Competition an Illustrator’s joy

It doesn’t only take an author to present a good book especially for children. It is an illustrator’s job to bring out in pictures what the author has written. The first thing that invites one to open up a book is not its words it is the cover.

On Friday, May 18th 2018, students of the Babonneau Primary School out to design their door as a cover of a book of their choosing. there was fun and excitement in the air while students and teachers alike put their doors together.

Ms. Akiko Fukuhara came in as our guest judge for the afternoon. Congratulations to all student and teachers who participated in this event.

The infant and primary sections were judged separately.

6 Gold and 3 Silver for our Infant School Athletes!!

We would like to congratulate all students who took part in the District’s Infant Schools Sports Meet. Amidst some students being ill and not being able to attend. You did your very best and came out with 6 gold medals and 3 silver. We are proud!

Grade Six Students Place in District One’s School Science Fair

Four grade six students set our to show off their science skills at our district’s science fair which took place at the Dame Pearlette Louisy Primary School.

Nivel Louis  reused plastic bottles and wipes covers to create beautiful pasta containers that are both environmentally and user friendly.

Nicola Eugene thought up the idea of DIY stickers using clear tape, markers and water. Quite cool.

Summer Jules and Qualan Jean with help from the teachers created a battery powered math spin game. Their math game took 3rd place in the math game category.
